Forest Green Rovers has teamed up with club partners, Lister Communications, to offer fans the opportunity to win a Nokia Lumia phone – part of an initiative to support the cancer charity, LINC.

Fans are being encouraged to bring old, unwanted mobile phones along to Forest Green’s fixture against Nuneaton Town on 31st January to help raise funds for the charity.

In line with the club’s own green ethos, Lister Communications will then recycle the old mobiles, with all money raised being donated to LINC.

Every fan who hands in an unwanted phone will receive a Forest Flutter ticket and entered into a draw to win the Nokia Lumia, while a second prize of a whole month’s gym membership is on offer too.

LINC is a Gloucestershire based charity set up in 1998 to help support patients suffering from cancer and leukaemia.

The charity provides help for patients who are undergoing intense chemotherapy and stem cell transplants for their disease: treatments that often require a long stay in hospital.
