Sync your calender & contacts with your mobile with Google

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

With the advent of Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) for companies,google-sync-serviceallowing complete control over their synchronisation of their desktop computers, what is there for the smaller business and the sole traders?

BES is relatively expensive for single workers but an absolute bargain for larger companies, however with the growth of Open Source help from Google the one man bands can now sync their calender and contacts with their mobiles for free.

With Google Mobile Sync, as long as you have a mobile that allows you to get online, you can simply sync your Google calender and your contacts and tasks with your mobile phone whenever you like.

One of the major benefits is that you will have all of your contacts available to you wherever you are in the World as long as you have internet access.

You will never miss another meeting again with their handy calender sync function and best of all, this is available free!

It is no substitute for Blackberry’s services for a larger company but if you are a one man band it is definitely worth looking at.
