O2 are building more and more masts to help boost their network coverage
and capacity.
With the rapid growth of smart phones and 3G dongles, the capacity of all networks has been put under pressure. Therefore with O2 being the fastest growing and largest network of last year they need to do something to make sure that they carry on in that vain.
So they are spending millions and millions of pounds on developing their network to provide more capacity and a better service to its millions of customers.
Will this see a push from the other networks to boost their capacity and improve their service? If the current customer service from some networks is anything to go with, I doubt it.
These large networks have got so big now that customer service is a long way down their list of things to improve and since we all now have mobiles, they know we aren’t going anywhere, but something must be done otherwise we are going to be pushed around by more and more big corporations, forcing us into a large nanny state without any identity.
We’ll be American before we know it!
