The iPad Air 2 is the sixth iPad to be launched since it was first introduced in 2010. This time around it has a specially created A8X chip to deliver a 40 per cent faster performance. It will also support an 8MP iSight camera, with a battery life now lasting up to 10 hours. A Touch ID sensor built into the home button, allows users to unlock their iPad without entering a code, and will work with third party apps.
