Here at Lister Unified Communications we make every effort to get involved within our community and help local charity’s around the area. Our efforts have been recognised, with Lister winning the corporate award at the 2015 Local Business Charity Awards and the Gloucester Rugby club Community Champion Awards in 2013. We take part in a number of events throughout the year and attempt to raise as much money as possible for these wonderful causes. You too can help by donating to our charity team for any one of the events we take part in. Thanks!
A superb response from the Gloucestershire business community has helped Lister raise much-needed cash for charity partners Emmaus.
Our plea for companies to send us used phones caused a stir in March, not least because of the picture of sales manager Simon Gardner buried by old mobiles.
But the picture did the trick and firms have rallied around the call with phones flooding in since.
Thanks to those efforts we have been able to collect over 300 devices, all of which can be turned into cash for Emmaus, a charity who help the homeless in Gloucestershire.
Simon Gardner said: “The response we have had has been fantastic with more than 300 phones coming in since it appeared in the news.
“This fantastic response means we are able to give Emmaus an amount of money that will make a real difference.
“We have been able to get some value out of things that people are no longer using to help a brilliant charity, it’s a huge win-win for everyone.”
Emmaus offer a home and work for 30 plus homeless people across five shops in Gloucestershire which sell goods donated by the public.
If you still have mobile phones to give, contact lister on 01453 829200 or e-mail email@example.com.

We decided to install the TomTom WORK system to provide our office with live information as to vehicle locations, two way communications between van and office for emergency call outs and navigation for the engineers direct to the customer’s premises. We are able to respond efficiently to customer call outs and monitor live progress of the engineer’s response to the call out through confirmed notification of job completion.
This new telephone system has really brought the sites together and that’s something that really pleases me. As a business we provide our divisions with the latest and most suitable equipment for the job and we have also now done this with our communications systems. I particularly like the visibility we have across all the sites and this has made our customer service far more seamless and we are of course now enjoying free calls between sites.
